   West Virginia artist Chamblin specializes in still life, floral, bird and animal subjects in oils.  She is a member of The Oil Painters Of America, The Society of Decorative Painters, Women Artists Of America, West Virginia Arts and Crafts Guild, Miniature Art Society Of Florida and The Parkersburg Art Center.
     Subjects for Karen's paintings, flowers and vegetables, come from their gardens and the pottery is from their extensive collection of Bell Pottery.  She also enjoys painting baby animals and birds
    Karen is inspired by the Old Masters and plans to continue her studies with some of the more prominent oil painters of today.
