JoeAnn Crawford says of her work “My first memory is of drawing in the dirt when I was two years old. I have drawn all my life and my dreams as a child was to grow up to be an artist. As a teen I was sponsored by the St. Alban’s Women’s Club to study with a local portrait artist. I have studied with many wonderful teachers over the years and feel I have always learned something new each time. I enjoy depicting the state’s natural scenes. ”
JoeAnn is an award winning West Virginia Artist and is Included in several state, national and corporate collections. She is a graduate of West Virginia State University, holds a B.F.A. and attended Marshall University’s Master’s Program.
